Marinated Quorn™ Kebabs with Szechuan Sauce

Let's Cook!

  1. Combine Quorn™ Tenders, garlic, honey, soy sauce, pepper, curry powder and 1 Tbsp. of the vegetable oil in small bowl; mix well. Cover, refrigerate 15-20 minutes to marinate.
  2. Thread marinated Quorn™ Tenders onto skewers to make kebabs.
  3. Brush Quorn™ kebabs with vegetable oil; place on baking sheet and broil under HIGH heat 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and nicely browned, turning occasionally. Serve with small bowl of dipping sauce on side (see recipe below).


Preparing the Dipping Sauce

  1. Mix together all the ingredients for the dipping sauce except scallions.
  2. Serve in small bowl, garnished with scallions.

Ingredients

1 pkg. Quorn™ Tenders, thawed
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. late soy sauce
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. curry powder
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
12-15 (6-8 inch) bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

FOR THE DIPPING SAUCE

2 Tbsp late soy sauce
2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, chopped
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. chili sauce (or 2 fresh chilies, deseeded, finely chopped)
2 scallions, finely sliced
