Quorn Fruity Burgers

A delicious burger recipe that the whole family will enjoy

Let's Cook!

  1. Mash the carrots while still warm.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. 
  3. Form burgers with your hands. This mixture makes 10-12 small burgers, more or less, depending on size. 
  4. Pre-heat oil in sauté pan. Lightly dust burgers with flour and sauté for 10-12 minutes on medium heat, turning halfway for even browning.
  5. Gently pat burgers with paper towels to absorb excess oil and serve on a bun or over salad.

5 medium carrots cooked
2 oz fresh white breadcrumbs (2 slices approx)
6 dried apricots finely chopped
2 oz raisins finely chopped
4 scallions finely sliced including green part
1/2 pack Quorn Grounds
1 tsp. dried chili flakes
1 orange, zest only, finely grated
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. fresh mint, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 medium egg, beaten
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
a little flour to dust burgers
