We genuinely care about what you eat. Health problems related to obesity and climate change are two of the biggest issues facing the world today. It’s a fact that excessive meat consumption and its intensive production are major contributors to the situation. We want to face these issues head on and encourage people to reduce their meat consumption.
Reducing our environmental impact
We’re extra passionate when it comes to protein production. We don’t rear livestock, preferring to grow and harvest Quorn’s mycoprotein in giant fermenters instead. This process is better for the environment as it uses less water, produces fewer greenhouse gases and takes up less land.

Palm oil is a versatile ingredient that's good to use because it only needs half the land of other oil producing crops. But in some parts of the world, illegal and irresponsible palm oil practices are a clear driver of deforestation, social conflicts and human rights issues. This cannot be allowed to continue.
