We are pleased to publish Quorn Foods Net Positive Report 2025-2026, which covers the progress towards our 2030 Net Positive ambition.

View our full Net Positive Report here.

Net Positive is our approach to building a sustainable business that has a positive impact on the planet, society, and the economy. We’re doing that through four pillars of action:

  • Positive Supply
  • Positive Operations
  • Positive Product
  • Positive Society

The report shares the story of Quorn Foods, a company born out of deep concern over food shortages in the 1960s, manifesting itself in the 1980s as a business helping the minority of people who didn’t want to eat meat, and today on a mission to help everyone eat less meat.

You will see our Net Positive ambition in practice; how every single member of the Quorn business is encouraged to act on one of our 12 updated Net Positive goals, and examples of our many collective achievements are detailed in this report.

  • Since 2023, every colleague has worked towards at least one Net Positive objective as part of their annual development plan – an approach recognised with the Environmental Leadership Award at the Food and Drink Federation Awards 2025.
  • Improving manufacturing efficiency, including a 16% reduction in electricity use per tonne at our Billingham factory and a 40% reduction in nitrogen use per kilogram of product at our Methwold site.
  • Developing future decarbonisation pathways, through partnerships exploring hydrogen, and industrial electrification.
  • Cutting warehouse food waste, achieving a 46% reduction in food waste per tonne of product at our warehouses between 2024 and 2025 while redistributing and donating over 2 million portions of Quorn products every year – a project winning the Food Waste Initiative at the Food and Drink Federation Awards 2025.
  • Reducing packaging impacts, removing cardboard sleeves from selected Quorn and Cauldron products to cut packaging weight by around 20%, saving an estimated 87,000 kgCO₂e annually - equivalent to around 424,000 road miles.1
  • Making healthier food the norm, with 95% of the portfolio non-HFSS, 99% of products providing a source of or high in fibre and/or protein by end of 2025, and a dedicated nutrition database helping guide future innovation.
  • Championing positive protein, using Quorn's unique mycoprotein to help more people make small, achievable dietary changes by providing a high-quality protein that uses significantly fewer natural resources than many traditional meat proteins.2 This approach underpins Quorn Foods' ambition to help build a more sustainable food system.
  • Educating colleagues on food systems resilience topics, including regenerative agriculture and environmental sustainability literacy to understand how responsibly sourced ingredients can support biodiversity, healthier soils and lower-impact supply chains.

All these stories and more can be found in the Quorn Foods Net Positive Report 2025-2026.
