Quorn has a vegan line of products which is suitable for those following a vegan diet. Products include Vegan Pieces and Fillets, Fishless Sticks, Dippers and Meatless Spicy Patties. You can find out more about the products here.
The majority of Quorn products still contain a small amount of egg white or milk ingredients, so are not suitable for vegans. However, we are constantly investigating different ways to produce Quorn products to make them suitable for Vegans.
When you use Quorn products in homemade recipes like shepherds pie, spaghetti, curry and chili, they are perfectly safe to re-heat if they’ve been kept cool in the fridge and are eaten within 48 hours. If you can resist them for that long!
If you have any leftover or extra portions from your Quorn recipes, you can easily re-freeze them. They’re great if you’re running late and need a quick meal on the go. As long as all the other ingredients are suitable for freezing and reheating, you can store the dish in the freezer for up to one month. Always make sure the ingredients are cold before freezing. It’s a good idea to take them out of the freezer the night before, defrost them fully in the refrigerator, then cook them within 24 hours, making sure they’re piping hot before serving.
