Quorn Meatless Homemade Veggie Burger

  • 1 bag Quorn Meat Free Grounds , defrosted
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • ½ red onion, finely diced
  • ½ red pepper, finely diced
  • ½ yellow pepper, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown lentils
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 8-10 basil leaves, finely sliced
  • Season to taste with salt & freshly ground black pepper


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400°F
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently fry the onion and peppers for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and smoked paprika and cook for 2 minutes more.
  3. Place the onions and peppers into a bowl and combine the Quorn Grounds, tomato paste, lentils, breadcrumbs, egg, basil and seasoning, mix gently until all the ingredients are combined.
  4. Divide the mixture in to 6- 8 equal amounts and form into burger shapes.
  5. Place onto a lightly greased baking tray and cook for 10-12 minutes.  Serve in a bun of your choice with a fresh green salad.
