The best vegan sandwich for summer time: charred Quorn Vegan Fillets with vegan cheese, avocado, a plant-based Caesar sauce, lettuce and red onions.

  • 4 (1 package) Quorn Meatless Vegan Fillets
  • 3/4 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tbsp vegan soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 120g white vegan cheese, sliced
  • 1 head of Romaine lettuce
  • 2 large avocadoes, sliced
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  1. For the Caesar sauce, combine the vegan mayonnaise, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, mustard, soy sauce, maple syrup and garlic. Using a hand blender, blend until smooth.
  2. Heat a griddle pan until smoking hot. Brush the Quorn Vegan Fillets with the olive oil and grill until charred and cooked through, 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Open each burger bun and grill the buns in the same griddle pan until crisp and charred, 1 minute.
  4. Spread some Caesar sauce onto the base of each crisp burger bun. Top it with the sliced vegan cheese, Romaine lettuce, avocado slices, grilled fillets and sliced onions. Top each burger with the top halves of the burger buns.

TIP: The Quorn Vegan Fillets can easily be replaced with Quorn Spicy Patties for a spicier alternative.
