Quorn Meatless Samosas

Use Quorn’s Meat Free Grounds to make tasty, vegetable samosas. Great for a quick snack.


  •  2 bags Quorn Meat Free Grounds
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbs. olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 peeled garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbs. Curry paste
  • 10 oz pack ready to use filo pastry
  • 1 tbs. butter
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds


1. Cook the carrots and peas in boiling water for approximately 5 minutes until softened.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet and saute the onions and garlic over a mdeium heat for 4-5 minutes until softened. Add the Quorn Grounds, curry paste and vegetables, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
3. Divide the pastry into eighths and brush with melted butter. Place a spoonful of filling at one end of the strip of pastry, leaving a 3/4 inch border. Take the right corner and fold diagonally to the left, enclosing the filling and forming a triangle. Fold again along the upper crease of the triangle. Fold again along the upper crease of the triangle. Keep folding in this way until you reach the end of the strip. Brush the outer surface with more butter.
4.Place the samosas on a greased baking sheet, seam side down and brush with a little butter. Finish by sprinkling with a sesame seeds. Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 400F until golden brown. Serve with tzatziki.
