Spaghetti Carbonara with Quorn Meatless Bacon

Try out this delicious old Italian pasta dish with Quorn Bacon-Style Slices


  • 1 12oz box dry spaghetti 
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 5 Quorn Bacon-Style Slices, defrosted and chopped
  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 large eggs, beaten1 cup freshly grated vegetarian Parmegiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook the spaghetti in a  pot of salted boiling water until al dente
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet. Sautee the mushrooms and garlic until browned. Add the chopped Quorn bacon, season to taste with freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and add the eggs, whisking quickly until the eggs thicken but do not scramble.
  4. Add the cheese and toss the pasta with the sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
