Quorn Meatless Pasta Carbonara

  • 6oz Quorn Meat Free Grounds
  • 5oz Quorn Bacon Style Strips, chopped
  • 12oz dried spaghetti
  • 1tbs. olive oil
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 peeled garlic clove, minced
  • 3 free range eggs, whisked
  • 1 tbs. vegetarian Parmesan, grated
  • 2 tbs. fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped


1. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil and add the spaghetti, cook as per pack instructions.
2. Heat the oil in a skillet and saute the shallot, garlic and Quorn Grounds. Cook for 3 minutes. Add the Quorn Bacon and cook for 2 minutes. 
3. Whisk the eggs in a large serving bowl with the grated cheese. Drain the spaghetti reserving 2 large spoonfuls of cooking water.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the whisked eggs with the Quorn mixture and the reserved pasta water. Stir well and garnish with parsley and black pepper.
